American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants (AAAA)

The professional organization of anesthesiologist assistants is the American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants (AAAA). Established in 1975, AAAA is dedicated to establishing and maintaining the standards of the profession, supporting the anesthesia care team mode of practice, and providing continuing medical education, including CME programs at the annual AAAA Meeting.

The AAAA provides membership opportunities for AA students and for practicing anesthesiologist assistants. Membership benefits include subscription to the quarterly newsletter, The Anesthesia Record.
