You are welcome to get a ‘head start’ and gather the following items to mail to our program office (we will start a file for you before we receive your online application):
Official transcripts from every undergraduate and graduate institution you have attended
One current passport-sized photograph
Documentation of Familiarity with Anesthesia Practice (you must shadow an anesthesia provider in an OR environment for at least 8 hours; at the end of your shadowing day, have the anesthesia provider complete the bottom portion of the form)
Three two-page reference forms – those individuals completing the reference form may also include a reference letter if desired
GRE scores: the GRE code for the Anesthesiology Program (listed as Anesthesiologist Asst. PR Emory) is 5692 or you may submit an official hard-copy score report from the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). Either exam must be taken within the five years prior to application.
